This Refund & Return Policy explains your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges for purchases made through our website www.latin-dutchman.com/ (the “Website”).

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.


1. What Orders Are Eligible for Return or Refund

Because our products are handmade, limited edition, and sustainably sourced, we apply the following guidelines:

A. Eligible for Return & Refund

You may request a return and refund if:

  1. The item you received is damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was described on the Website.
  2. You received the wrong item.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Provide clear photos showing the issue (damage, defect, or discrepancy).
  • Return the item in its original condition and packaging (where feasible).

B. Not Eligible for Refund

The following are not refundable:

  • Change of mind / personal preference
  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered
  • Opened coffee bags after brewing
  • Any product without photos showing the issue

2. How to Request a Return or Refund

To start a return or refund request:

    • Photos of the issue
    • A brief description of why you are requesting a refund or return

Once we receive your request, we will respond within 2 business days with next steps.


3. Return Shipping

Unless the item is damaged or incorrect due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For damaged or incorrect items, we will:

  • Provide a pre-paid return label, or
  • Reimburse your return shipping cost

4. Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your returned item:

  2. We will notify you within 5 business days whether your refund is approved

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item:

  • Place a new order on the Website

7. Partial Refunds

  • Items missing parts or accessories
  • Items returned more than 7 days after delivery
